Redondo Beach Real Estate & Community Insight

Redondo Beach is the third and largest in the Beach Cities of South Bay in Los Angeles County. Redondo Beach is a coastal haven for families, young professionals, older adults, athletes and travelers who cherish the city’s prime amenities, spectacular beaches, near-perfect climate, safe neighborhoods, superior schools, fine hotels, diverse shopping and dining and unparalleled quality of life.

Redondo Beach is the focus of many who want to be in the sun and near the ocean. Although a vibrant community in its own right, much of the Redondo Beach lifestyle is a blend of the neighborhoods, activities and people of the three Beach Cities of Southern California’s South Bay. Like its sister cities of Hermosa Beach and Manhattan Beach, Redondo’s key lifestyle draw is the vast beach that links these three cities.

Redondo Beach is divided into two areas North Redondo and South Redondo, South Redondo Beach borders the Pacific Ocean on the west, offering an abundance of beach activities. If sailing is your passion you can dock your boat at the King Harbor Marina, enjoy the abundance of restaurants the city has offering endless varieties of food. The Redondo Beach Pier offers restaurants, touristy bars, smaller shops and a games arcade.
The Hollywood Riviera is in the city of Torrance but has a Redondo Beach zip code. The Riviera has a distinct feel that sets it apart from neighboring communities. The Hollywood Riviera neighborhood has it all, gorgeous homes, ocean views, delightful cluster of shops, restaurants, café bistros and galleries know as the “Riviera Village”.

North Redondo offers a more neighborhood feel it is primarily an inland experience as the beachfronts form most of Hermosa Beach and part of Manhattan Beach. While primarily residential, North Redondo contains some of the city’s major industry and commercial space, including the inland aerospace and engineering firms that are part of Southern California’s long space legacy. It is also home to the South Bay Galleria Shopping Center and a revitalized Artesia Boulevard as well as the large Del Amo Fashion Center.
